JBD 322 try-out short story

It was a cool afternoon, i was walking home from school. But as i came into Badger Woods
i felt like i was being watched. But i kept on.  " I get those feeling all the time" I
Thought. But a few moments later i could almost hear a faint steps.
At that moment i thought it was some kind of mugger, So i ran. as i ran something ran after me,
i did'int see what or who it was. But he was too fast, i felt myself being pinned to the ground
I did'int scream just looking at it with wide scared eyes breathing hard. it bared it teeth at me
but no claws. as soon i thought it was over, the beast opened his mouth. but he did'int bite. he spoke.
AHAAHAHEEAHA! YOU-SHOULD-HAVE-SEEN-THE LOOK-ON-YOUR-FAAAACEE! AAHAAHAA! PRICELESS! , The monster rolled over laughing.
          I was still in shock but i got over it quickly. " What the fluff!, you could have gave me a heart attack! "
I blazed out. " hmm.. grumm. oh right. sorry about that i couldn't help myself there. " The so-called -monster-
sat under a tree and started shaving pieces of wood off a small stick with a smug look on his face. " What are 
you anyway? " i said Curiously " A Jelly bean dragon, My name is Kulak, and i'm single ( eyebrow motion ) 
" I  thought jelly bean dragons where just fairy tails.. " Who told you that? " Kulak said Curiously " My uncle " " Oh " Kulak said.
" Well i guess id'e better be going now, it's getting dark my mother would be worried. i said half-sadly " " Well. ok. if you must.
again sorry for scaring you so bad.. but you SHOULD have seen the look on your face!" I gave a short puzzled look at him
" Ahem. sorry. " He said seriously.  " Do you have a place to stay for the night? i said wondering 
He had a puzzled look on his face for a few split-seconds " Well i'm growing now so i'm looking for a new place to crash. so far it's been harder than i thought.. " Kulak said trying not to sound burdened. 
" Well why not come stay with me for awhile? we have a barn you could stay in for awhile, i'm sure my parents won't mind!
if you wanted to that is. " f-for real? d-do you mean it? after i scared you so bad? " Kulak said stuttering
' SURE why not? if you don't eat me or mess with my cats or anything. why not? we even have a pear tree not far from here "
i said trying not to sound over-excited. " Well maybe but just one night. let me go get my lizard real quick! "

    It turn's out ( censored out name's )  parents let Kulak stay for awhile. and it turn's out he never left!
